Patient positioning and immobilization techniques for radiation treatments will be discussed. The benefits and limitations of positioning devices for head and neck, breast, and pelvis regions will be presented. The dose delivery verification tools for complex treatment plans such as IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy), IGRT (Image Guided Radiation Treatment), and ART (Adaptive Radiation Therapy) will be reviewed.
